Bear Stearns lowers evaluation on Men's Wearhouse.(Brief Article)

Daily News Record, December, 1995

NEW YORK - Bear Stearns & Co. lowered its evaluation of Men's Wearhouse Inc. to neutral from attractive, based on the stock's price, but still expects the specialty retailer to see 25 percent earnings growth going forward.

In a research report, analyst Steve Kernkraut said that on a near-term basis the company has attained its fair valuation and price target.

"We continue to believe that Men's Wearhouse is the clear winner in the men's tailored clothing retail sector," Kernkraut said, "and it is a stock that we could see recommending again, but near-term we believe the stock's meteoric performance will slow down and we have chosen this time to move to the sidelines."
