A new line of men's designer jeans is expected to be introduced by the Warnaco Group under the Chaps by Ralph Lauren label. According to Warnaco Chmn and CEO Linda J. Wachner, the new line will be ready for the back-to-school season. Warnaco already manufactures and markets a collection of men's sports clothes under the Chaps by Ralph Lauren label. The new jeans line is expected to be launched during 3d qtr 1996.
