NEW YORK (FNS) - A federal court judge has dismissed an age discrimination suit filed against Brooks Brothers Inc. by a 51-year-old store manager who was fired in 1990 after being accused of sexually harassing a female stock clerk.

In a 17-page opinion, Manhattan Federal Court Judge Denny Chin ruled that there was no evidence that Joseph Agugliaro, the former manager of the stock and receiving department at Brooks Brothers' Madison Avenue store, was fired based on his age. Judge Chin noted that even if Agugliaro did not sexually harass the former stock clerk, Brooks Brother "fired him because they believed in good faith that he had, and [Agugliaro] has presented no evidence to show otherwise."
