Stonehenge Ltd. has launched a marketing campaign for its J. Garcia Art in Neckwear Collection to coincide with the anniversary of Jerry Garcia's death. The campaign, "Celebrating the Art of Jerry Garcia," includes advertisements in Sports Illustrated, GQ and Newsweek and gift-with-purchase offers. Stonehenge is facing competition from a line of Grateful Dead neckwear launched by Mulberry Neckwear.
NEW YORK -- The sudden passing of Jerry Garcia on Aug. 9, 1995, touched the hearts of legions of Grateful Dead fans -- and also proved an unexpected boon to Stonehenge Ltd., licensee for the J.
