Macy's East Herald Square store is displaying Fubu's summer urban-inspired clothing line for young men in its windows. Macy's introduced the clothing line in six stores during the spring of 1997 and plans to add more stores during the fall of 1997. The market for young men's urban fashion is expanding, and stores, such as J.C.Penney, Nordstrom and Mercantile, are adding urban clothing lines to meet the needs of consumers. Some of the lines being sold are JNCO, Mecca, Pelle Pelle and DLO.

NEW YORK -- Demonstrating a willingness to showcase non-traditional resources, Macy's Herald Square has dedicated multiple windows to the summer merchandise of Fubu, the urban line whose name is an acronym for "For Us, By Us."
