LINDA WACHNER, WARNACO CEO, SAYS REPLACEMENT WILL BE NAMED SHORTLY NEW YORK -- Alex Cannon, president of the Warnaco Menswear and the licensed cK jeanswear and khakis business for men and women at the Warnaco Group, is out. Confirming market reports, Warnaco chairwoman, president and CEO Linda J.
Wachner, who was in Europe, said by telephone: "As of Friday, Alex Cannon is no longer with the company. We will announce his replacement shortly." Asked why Cannon is no longer with Warnaco, Wachner would only repeat her comment, noting, "That's a forceful statement." Cannon is the third cK executive to exit cK Calvin Klein Jeans since November, when Warnaco acquired Designer Holdings Inc., the $480 million maker of cK jeanswear. As reported, Danny...
