NEW YORK -- Joseph Cecil has been named president of sales for Burberry dress shirts, ties and sport shirts, a licensed division of Gitman & Co./IAG. He reports to John Minahan, president of Gitman.
Cecil, who will be at MAGIC this week, had been public relations and marketing consultant for Ermenegildo Zegna in Chicago and vice-president of sales for Zanzara International. Cecil opened Zegna's Chicago store in 1998. Before that, he worked for Saks Fifth Avenue from 1991 to 1998 and was vice-president and DMM of men's sportswear in New York and vice-president and general manager of the Old Orchard store in Chicago.
