Paolo Zegna Named President of Ideabiella
MILAN -- Ideabiella has named Paolo Zegna president of the 64-member Italian textile association. Zegna, who shares CEO duties with his brother, Gildo, at the Ermenegildo Zegna apparel company, served as vice-president of Ideabiella for the previous four years. He succeeds Paolo Negri, who served as president since 1997.
A spokeswoman said Zegna would oversee the seven-person advisory board and be instrumental in the development and promotion of the association here and abroad. He will serve as president until 2003.
Zegna, who was traveling outside of Italy, could not be reached for comment.
Based in the Piedmont region of Italy, Ideabiella represents some 64 independent fabric...
