Imagine a search engine for trade events, market shows, company profiles and more -- plus a source for daily closeouts from the biggest auction site in the business. This is what the new and improved InfoMat.com. is about since it partnered with Liquidation.com last year.
The combined InfoMat.com search engine for industry data and surplus listings went live on March 26.
When the InfoMat was first launched it was billed as a "one-stop networking and marketing information source." But it didn't take long for the new site to add on a closeout and overrun exchange. And, according to Oley DiCenso, the site's cofounder, others are in the offing.
As for Liquidation.com, its first auction partner, it's a privately owned multimillion-dollar...
