The Firm, an entertainment company for anti-establishment, street-metal acts such as Korn, Limp Bizkit and Staind, will relaunch the Pony footwear and active-inspired sportswear for spring 2002.

The Firm quietly bought the Pony name from UK-based Pentland Group for an undisclosed sum earlier this year, according to David Schulte, who heads up The Firm's Pony division.

The line will debut this week at MAGIC in a streetwear booth space adjacent to BC Ethic, the L.A.-based parent company of ZacherHuber, Pony's sales and U.S. distributor. The collection, manufactured by licensee Kids Headquarters, will be shown to a targeted group of about 400 retailers on an invitation-only basis at the Las Vegas trade show, Schulte told DNR.
