One month after it was dropped by its largest customer, Oakley Inc. said it will increase its presence in another retailer. The eyeglass company said it has expanded its presence in Champs Sports from 370 to 500 stores. Last month, its largest customer, Sunglass Hut, which is owned by Luxottica Group SpA, which owns the Ray-Ban and Revo brands, said it would no longer stock new sunglasses from Oakley. As part of the deal with Champs, the chain will double the amount of Oakley sunglass shelf space at its 75 highest-volume locations, with an additional 25 locations to be upgraded by the end of the fourth quarter.
