When it comes to getting a feel for what's happening in men's retail in Los Angeles, it just doesn't get any hipper than Kbond. Since opening its doors in 1999, this 2,200-square-foot modernist space on Beverly Boulevard has become a shopping mecca for such sharp dressers as Eric Clapton, Jacob Dylan, Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg. The fact that the store was the source of Brad Pitt's entire wardrobe for The Mexican is further evidence that owners Karen Kimmel and her husband, James Bond, know a thing or two about cool men's clothes.
