Daily News Record, July, 2002

NEW YORK -- Malo, the luxury men's sweater line owned by Ittierre, has opened in-store shops at the three Barneys New York flagships on Madison Avenue in New York City, Beverly Hills and Chicago. Aside from Malo's company-owned stores on Madison Avenue and in Soho, Barneys will be the only retailer in New York to carry the line, the company said.

"We were planning to expand our mix to include a more modern, cashmere-based luxury collection," Tom Kalenderian, Barneys' executive vice-president and GMM, said in a statement. "Malo represents exactly what we were looking for."

On July 18, Barneys and Malo will host a cocktail party at the Beverly Hills store to toast producer Robert Evans upon the release of his autobiographical movie, The Kid Stays In The Picture.
