NEW YORK -- Calvin Klein's men's wear business was believed to be the primary trophy for a number of suitors last week, including Phillips-Van Heusen and VF Corp. New to the mix were Kellwood Corp. and the financial power duo Lawrence Stroll and Silas Chou.

Last week, rumors swirled that the Calvin Klein Inc. business was back on the block and the company had reportedly retained corporate lawyer Allen Grubman -- Lizzy's dad -- to entertain offers. Some of the suitors are said to be interested in both the Calvin Klein designer business and licensees, while others are talking about the prospect of buying the properties held by the bankrupt Warnaco Group only.
