NEW YORK -- Jay-Z's economic exploits just keep stackin' up. In a deal announced last week, the 33-year-old hip-hop artist (two Grammys), music mogul (Roc-A-Fella Records), film producer (Roc-A-Fella Films) and ultra-successful urbanwear entrepreneur (Rocawear) has partnered with Reebok to promote its basketball line and do an "S. Carter Collection by Rbk" shoe line.

The shoes, labeled with the rapper's given name of Shawn Corey Carter and the Canton, Mass.-based company's shorthand for its street-inspired gear, are scheduled for retail debut in June. Reebok plans to promote them, for a limited time, by including a specially written CD single by Jay-Z in each box.
