Russell Corp. is moving the operations of Bike Athletic from Knoxville, Tenn., to other existing Russell locations to eliminate duplication. Screenprinting and custom decoration will move to Alexander City, Ala., and the distribution operation will move to a facility in Columbus, Ga. These moves, affecting approximately 50 employees, should be completed by the end of April. Bike's office and customer service operation is likely to remain in Knoxville no later than the end of July. Russell hasn't decided yet whether to move those operations to Atlanta or Alexander City, Ga. Russell acquired Bike Athletic on Jan. 30.
