It all started about six years ago with Paul Frank's stitching a funny-looking monkey named Julius onto wallets and selling them at the newsstand where he worked. Now, with 12 stores and 75 employees, Paul Frank has emerged as something of a fashion icon with a devoted following and an ever-expanding product line. He and his two partners, Ryan Heuser and John Oswald, gamely attempted to explain how they became such an amazing success and what the future holds for them.
