MILWAUKEE -- Men are embracing Kohl's new apparel brands.
At both its new stores in California and across the chain, men are responding to sportswear from such new brands as Havana Jack, Axist and Axcess from Liz Claiborne, president Kevin Mansell told DNR following the annual shareholders meeting here last week.
Axcess for both men and women was introduced in 150 stores last year and will be rolled out to all units this year.
The Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based chain also has high hopes for new brands for teens and young men that are being rolled out this spring and summer. Names showing up in stores now through July include Fubu, U.S. Polo Assn., Dickies, P.Miller, Gotcha and Ocean Pacific.
