DABAH TO HEAD JONES JEANSWEAR GROUP.(Brief Article)

NEW YORK -- Jones Apparel Group unified its jeans businesses in a group structure that will be overseen by Gloria Vanderbilt executive Isaac Dabah.

Holding the title of group CEO, Dabah will be in charge of Polo Jeans Co., l.e.i. and Gloria Vanderbilt. The new structure will allow the company to leverage its procurement and sourcing capabilities while maintaining the integrity of each brand, Jones said.

Dabah, formerly chief executive of Gloria Vanderbilt, which was acquired by Jones in April 2002 for $138 million, will continue to report to Jones CEO Peter Boneparth.
