NEW YORK -- Sample-sale addicts can finally get first dibs of designer, warehouse and retail closeouts.

A new Web site, SalesOffline.com, has been developed to give luxury shoppers advance notice and listings of sample sales at showrooms and stores, plus access to retail discount coupons and promotional offers. In addition, the site includes an auction to buy and bid on gift certificates from selected retailers.

Shoppers will be able to search for a sample sale by designer, location or product category. They will also be sent an e-mail newsletter with shopping news, fashion trends, site updates, events and giveaways.
