KENNETH COLE STRENGTHENS TIES WITH PAUL DAVRIL INC.(Kenneth Cole Productions)

NEW YORK -- New York-based Kenneth Cole Productions extended the term of its men's sportswear license with Paul Davril Inc., and gave it the women's sportswear license earlier held by Liz Claiborne Inc.

The original men's sportswear license was set to expire in 2007, but the revised deal creates a "substantial, long-term" renewal after that, with the women's license running on the same schedule, Kenneth Cole president Paul Blum told DNR. He declined to give more information on the licenses' terms.

The deal solidifies Los Angeles-based PDI as one of Kenneth Cole's most important licensing partners. The company, which also holds licenses for the Ecko Red juniors' line and Skechers young men's and juniors' apparel, has had the Kenneth Cole...
