SOVELL LAUNCHES UNDERWEAR BRAND.(Gramercy Park)(Gregory Sovell)

NEW YORK -- Gregory Sovell wants to create the next global contemporary apparel brand.

This fall he will take the first step toward that goal with the launch of C-IN2, a line of sexy, closely cut men's underwear and swimwear geared to a fashion-conscious consumer.

If the name C-IN2, not to mention its target customer, seems linked to another well-known underwear brand, it's because it is. Sovell founded 2(x)ist 12 years ago and up until his departure in September 2002, served as executive vice-president and creative director of the company. The decision to style the new brand in the familiar equation form was apparently intentional.
