NEW YORK -- Madsoul, the New York-based young men's line inspired by the history of hip-hop music, has signed a licensing and operations agreement with Drew Pearson Marketing (DPM). Madsoul founder and chief executive officer Marc D'Amelio will serve on DPM's executive advisory board and will continue to lead the brand's operations.
The agreement was struck in order to better service retailers, according to D'Amelio, who also cited DPM's strengths in sourcing, marketing, finance and back-office functions as incentives to license the brand.
