Caryn Lerner has been named president of Holt Renfrew & Co., effective immediately. She succeeds Andrew Jennings, who left the Toronto-based retailer in February to become president and chief merchandising officer of Saks Fifth Avenue. Lerner, 47, was most recently president and chief marketing officer at Escada, which she left 12 months ago. Prior to that, she was a senior manager at On-Q, a former division of QVC. She has also held senior management positions at Jones New York, Barneys New York and Bloomingdale's. With annual sales of over $250 million, Holt's operates nine retail outlets across Canada and two clearance centers.
