ORLANDO -- The golf industry is putting on bright colors and a much brighter outlook than the market has had in five years as it gears up for a Masters-caliber year.
Much at the apparel end of the show was ablaze in color -- reds, oranges, yellows, blues, purple and greens. Technical fabrics, primarily those with moisture management, as well as luxury fabrics dominated. Protection from the sun, water and wind also figured importantly as technical properties, as did light weights, body-temperature regulation and easy-care features.
