Who's buying: According to New York manager Sharon Mandler, a businessman who looks for "quality and style," a man who enjoys the English sensibility offered by this London-based label, where retail ranges from $99 to $199.

What's selling: Tyrwhitt (pronounced Ter-rit) is not a label that follows trends. Colorful patterns are always successful, ones with enough boldness to counterbalance the core range. Charles Tyrwhitt shirts have spread collars, which represent their Englishness, and cuffs are both french and barrel. Shirt tails are neither long nor short, and two-ply fabrics, all sourced from Italian mills, generally range from 100 to 180 grams.
