NEW YORK -- Denim flavor-of-the-month fever has bitten the over-35 jeans customer: He now wants his own version of the fit, feel and finish of premium jeans, but built for a fuller frame.

In other words, gentlemen's jeans, and from the buzz in the marketplace, denim makers are ready to compete for newfound men's wear dollars.

Although gentlemen's jeans aren't new, they were afterthought for a customer who thought more about linen and cashmere than he did indigo denim. The latest jeaning of America is changing all that.
