NEW YORK -- Lanier Clothes has been hanging out in London -- Billy London, that is -- its new, young contemporary label for suit separates.

Describing the line as "sexy, modern and affordable," Mike Sandler, executive vice-president, who conceived the idea, said, "We're translating the hot London look to America at great prices, and we've also created a cool name to give it a life of its own." Lanier is a division of Atlanta-based Oxford Industries.

The first line of Billy London suit separates is being launched this month for spring '06.
