The Travel Industry Association has released its list of the top 10 summer travel destinations in the U.S., based on a survey of 1,300 travelers who said they'd take a trip in the next three months. Americans will take 328 million trips this summer, up 2.3 percent from last year. TIA credits savvy outreach marketing: Vegas advertising has been strong, South Carolina's ads are more visible, and Tennessee's pitch for the Smoky Mountains is, well, smokin'.
