NEW YORK -- Outerwear maker Rainforest is hitting the luxury trail with a new, top shelf-priced Signature label for fall.

With price points ranging from $495 to $1,095, the Made-in-China collection of six styles is being introduced for the first season exclusively at 20 doors of Saks Fifth Avenue. According to Jack Wu, Rainforest's president, Signature represents a new high in price points for the company, which is also using shells and linings that it has never dabbled in before.
