A recent spate of industry parties prove that men's wear never takes a holiday from enjoying a little merriment.
In New York, Theory and the Council of Fashion Designers saluted Richard Avedon's photography collection, "Woman in the Mirror," at Pastis in the meatpacking district. Diddy, John Bartlett and Kenneth Cole stopped by to congratulate the new CFDA executive director, Steven Kolb, who was elected the day before.
Saks Fifth Avenue was a hotbed of parties with the opening of both the newest John Allan location and the Versace shop. More than 1,200 well-groomed bodies, including media staple Billy Bush and Sopranos star Dominic "Junior" Chianese, mingled with editors from Men's Health, which sponsored the event.
