NEW YORK - In the year since David Didio took over as president of London Fog, the company has emerged from a one-note outerwear/rainwear maker into a full-fledged designer lifestyle collection.

"We always knew we would develop a total brand in all classifications," said the former Donna Karan and Calvin Klein executive, "but that was only part of our vision. We did a capsule spring outerwear line last fall as a marketing vehicle for luxury retailers to reposition London Fog into the better designer sportswear market from a mainfloor classification company."
