Three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady has signed on to appear in advertising for Movado Series 800 watches. He joins a roster of brand ambassadors that includes Mikhail Baryshnikov, Pete Sampras and Wynton Marsalis.

U.K.-based Samsonite, the world's largest luggage maker, acquired a majority stake last week in New York-based Lambertson Truex. Richard Lambertson and John Truex, the founders of the company, are now co-creative directors. Lambertson Truex has estimated annual sales of $50 million, while Samsonite registers retail sales of around $2 billion.
