SAN CLEMENTE - Ocean Pacific Apparel Corp. president Dick Baker turned 60 earlier this month-with more than a little help from his friends. Some of the biggest names in the surf business turned out to a surprise birthday party arranged by his wife, Una (and photographed by son Ryan), near his San Clemente home. Among those fting Baker on Sept. 2 were Reef's Fernando and Santiago Aguerre, Billabong's Paul Naud, Quiksilver's Bob McKnight, Matt Serra of Foot Locker, Izzy Tihanyi, co-owner of the Surf Diva label, Michelle Monigal of Macy's West, Sperry's Nat Norfleet, and Mark Price, the former head of Reef's global marketing efforts.
