In the wake of an ongoing audit probe into financial irregularities at Hampshire Group that started in June, the sweater maker officially terminated its CEO, Ludwig Kuttner, after previously placing him on administrative leave. The company found he had submitted expense reports for $1.45 million over the past 10 years, many of which were fraudulent. Additionally, the company terminated executive vice-president and treasurer Charles Clayton, who was also on leave. Michael Culang is continuing to serve as interim CEO at the company, while Jonathan Norwood continues as interim treasurer.
