NEW YORK - Walking into Thom Browne's new store in Tribeca is like stepping back in time. And that's entirely intentional.
The 2,000-square-foot store that opened last Friday is designed to simulate the look of an office of a gentleman of the late '50s and early '60s. With its 14-foot ceilings, poured terrazzo marble floors, gray marble walls and hand-selected furnishings, architect David Biscaye of Biscaye Frres has created what he called a "more luxurious version" of Browne's former location in the Meatpacking District.
