METZINGEN, Germany - Hugo Boss is bullish about 2007.

At the German apparel giant's annual press conference here last week, CEO Bruno Slzer projected income before taxes would rise between 12 and 15 percent, while currency-adjusted group sales would grow between 8 and 10 percent for the year ahead.

This comes on the heels of benchmark sales and earnings for 2006. As previously reported, Hugo Boss group sales rose 14 percent to $1.88 billion (1.496 billion euros), with net income surging 19 percent to $162.1 ...
