THE PRESIDENT WEARS PRADA: Nicolas Sarkozy, fashion plate? Just maybe. The conservative politician took office as France's 23rd president wearing Prada-much, BTL surmises, to the chagrin of French fashion houses and Bernard Arnault. Sarkozy, who has pledged to enact swift labor reforms in the world's sixth-largest economy, wore a trim, three-button, navy Prada suit during the inauguration ceremony last week at the Elyse Palace. Moreover, his wife, Cecilia, donned a cream, satin Prada dress, while her daughters from a previous marriage, Jeanne Marie Martin and Judith Martin, opted for the younger-spirited Miu Miu. Trs chic.
