Mark S. Cosby, senior vice-president for property development for Federated Department Stores, will become president and COO of Macy's East on June 4. He will succeed James E. Gray, who is retiring after 46 years with the company. Ron Klein continues as chairman and CEO of the New York-based division. In addition, J. David Scheiner, previously vice-chairman and director of stores at Macy's Florida, has been named president and COO of that division. He replaces Nirmal K. "Trip" Tripathy, who has left the company to pursue another opportunity. Julie Greiner continues as chairman and CEO of the Miami-based division.
Jeff Gentry, chairman of Invista, will also assume the duties of CEO on May 31, when he officially replaces Jeff Walker. With Walker's imminent...
