BEFRIEND MARC: Does Marc Jacobs ever sleep? In between his work on Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs, the designer carved out time to add nearly 16,000 "friends" since joining MySpace on May 22. His profile page features comically mundane descriptors (male, 44, fashion designer) and Louis Vuitton monogram wallpaper. In several photos of him working, texting and stepping out with Winona Ryder, he looks tan, buff and curiously rejuvenated. It's scant consolation for the cancellation of his Milan men's show, but we're happy he's happy. Of course, Jacobs is far from the only designer on MySpace. The Duckie Brown guys have more than 8,000 friends. John Galliano has 12.
