Most of the world's data is stored on IBM S/390 servers, and many are choosing to upgrade applications rather than abandon them. IBM is offering new technologies to run on the OS/390 operating system. These include the latest tools such as DB2, WebSphere Application Servers and more. IBM has also upgraded its ThinkPad 390 to offer thinner design and compatibility with Windows NT Workstation 4.0 and high end features.
