Lotus introduces Lotus Sametime 1.0 workgroup software. The product enables people to communicate and collaborate on documents in real-time. Sametime, which supports 15 languages, can be used by itself or in conjunction with Lotus Domino 4.6 and Release 5. Lotus has also implemented various services and Business Partner programs that work with Sametime.
