Concerning "Personal Computers and The Year 2000" by Michael Lips (February ESJ), Mr. Lips clearly defines the significant Y2K risks to which PC servers and desktops are exposed. Full replacement of hardware and software with the latest versions and upgrades does not guarantee elimination of problems.
