Comprehensive BI solutions have a strong process orientation. Developing solutions based upon principle number five considers the process from the origin of facts through the impact of decisions that are made. BI solutions developed from a business perspective need to consider such salient questions as what the nature of the business context is, what the nature of the design-creating context is, what the business metrics involve, what the key business processes are, and who the targets are for the information that is developed.
