In a move it says makes it the largest Managed Service Provider (MSP) focused on managing enterprise applications, SevenSpace has acquired fellow MSP StrataSource. The transaction, a stock-for-assets purchase, grows SevenSpace's customer base to nearly 100 companies.

SevenSpace specializes in delivering application and infrastructure management solutions, which differentiates it somewhat from other players in the MSP space focused on more discrete technology segments like security, networks, desktops or storage.
