Spray Guns Represent Auto Industry Standard

Anest Iwata High T.E.C. Technology EPA Compliant spray guns are now the industry standard, throughout Europe, for the automotive manufacturing industry.

Air atomising spray guns are still used for many reinforcing applications such as door shuts, engine compartments and tailgates. With the advent of waterborne coatings, the reduction of overspray from reinforcing applications has become a critical factor, which is where High T.E.C. (High Transfer Efficiency Control) Technology comes to the forefront.

In independent tests carried out by the MIRRC, transfer efficiencies of up to 92 per cent were achieved with High T.E.C. Technology spray guns. Every High T.E.C. spray gun is supplied with an Official EPA Certificate of Compliance issued by the MIRRC.

It is this transfer efficiency onto the areas to be coated that enables overspray onto other areas to be virtually eliminated. This avoids the problems experienced with water-borne coatings when overspray affects the finish achieved by the electrostatic bells and top and side coaters.
