The legendary American architect Frank Lloyd Wright had distinctive ideas about how to improve theatre design, although history conspired to keep those ideas on a theoretical level. Aside from small theatres installed in his Taliesin compounds in Arizona and Wisconsin, the only existing theatre designed by Wright is the Kalita Humphreys, home of the Dallas Theater Center, completed in 1959.
