Rekindling the workshop he pioneered, playwright and teacher Murray Mednick--in association with artistic director Guy Zimmerman--has launched Padua Playwrights Productions, picking up in an indoor setting where the Padua Hills Playwrights Festival left off five years ago. For 18 years Padua Hills fostered some of theatre's most progressive writers, including John Steppling, Maria Irene Fornes and David Henry Hwang.
