Playwright Erik Ehn has been chosen as the recipient of the 2001 CalArts/Alpert award in theatre and performance artist John Kelly was honored in the dance category. The award, now in its seventh year, recognizes early-to-mid career artists and carries a $50,000 purse. From a crop of 14 nominees, Chuldsplay, Inc.
