Darko Tresnjak is the winner of this year's Alan Schneider Director Award, designed to assist mid-career freelance directors who have exhibited exceptional talent and established local or regional reputations. The award is given in recognition of the late Alan Schneider's lifelong concern for nurturing new generations of theatre directors; nominations are made by artistic and administrative leaders of TCG member theatres.
